Surgery

Quality of Life

We offer state-of-the-art surgical techniques and technology in our general practice. All patients are carefully screened prior to anesthesia and medications are specifically tailored to each patient. Surgical services and facilities include: two doctors with surgical interest available for consultation; trained technical staff to ensure the safest, most efficient procedures for your pet; heated surgery tables for greater comfort; advanced sterilization techniques; ECG and oxygen saturation monitors; and post-surgical care.

Orthopedic Surgery

We use state-of-the-art surgical equipment and cutting-edge techniques to make the surgical procedures we perform as safe and effective as possible. We offer lateral sutures (lateral fabellar suture) for CCL repair, femoral head ostectomy (FHO) surgery, medial patella luxation (MPL) surgery, amputations, and more. If your dog or cat is suffering from an injury or illness that affects their bones, joints, ligaments, or tendons, our veterinarians can help.

Spay & Neuter

Spaying and neutering prevents pregnancies in dogs and cats, but these routine procedures do so much more. By having your female pet spayed, you drastically reduce the risk of breast cancer and the potential for uterine infections and cancer. Neutering your pet can also reduce the risk of prostate problems and testicular cancer.

Having your pet spayed or neutered can impact their personalities in positive ways, too. These procedures can make pets less aggressive, less prone to roaming, and possibly easier to train. They can reduce problematic behaviors, such as spraying or marking as well. Please consult with our veterinary team to discuss when the proper time to perform these surgeries on your pet is.
