There will always be a point in your pets lives where RVH isn’t open and something happened, whether its medical or they ate something they shouldn’t have. Please CALL FIRST to the following emergencies BEFORE driving to them. There are times where they are at capacity and can’t allow anymore patients, and we would hate for you to waste precious time going there to get turned away.
If your pet ate something they shouldn’t have, please contact ASPCA Pet Poison Hotline for further direction.
The ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center (APCC) is your best resource for any animal poison-related emergency, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. If you think your pet may have ingested a potentially poisonous substance, call (888) 426-4435. A consultation fee may apply.
